This is a rare bird indeed. Completely matching numbers the current owner has owned the car over 20 years. And the owner before him owned the car for 20 years prior to that.

While in ownership of the prior owner the engine had a complete rebuild by Wayne Obry of Motion Products. The car also underwent a repaint from its original white to current deep red and the interior was reupholstered. The body was not removed from the car making this an incredibly unmolested original example.

In the new and current ownership (purchased in the early 90’s) the owner had the original newly rebuilt engine and transmission removed and place on a stand for preservation. A c
orrectly rebuilt engine was installed with the intent to race the car. The owner quickly realized he was not a risk take and the 328 was removed from racing duty with just 3,000 miles on the replacement engine.

The car presents beautifully with paint, interior, and engine in pristine condition. Boxes of invoices, documentation and pictures accompany the car along with a slew of spares.

Located in Boston M.A.

Delivered to Motorwagen in Kassel, Germany on December 11, 1937. Owned by Lieutenant General James M. Gavin of the 82nd Airborne Division. This car has a great verifiable history.
