The cars show here in Southwest Florida have been experiencing some very agreeable weather. The Kimal Lumber 21st was no exception to that. What a beautiful day filled with gorgeous cars. The participants and the attendees were festive. The music was great, there was plenty places to put a fold out chair in the shade.
I always try to arrive early. There are good reasons for a photographer like myself to get there early. Trying to take photos of individual cars becomes more difficult as the crowd shows up. Early the owners are normally with the cars so I can get some interesting details from them. The morning sun helps eliminate glare and shadows.
When I first arrive the car owners are busy doing last minute detail work. I love to photo them with their detail sprays and fiber towels in their hands after all I market detail products with my affiliate partners.
As in all the Car Shows and the Cars and Caffeine get togethers I find a car that stands out and choose it as the “Shine of the Show”. This is judged on two factors 1.The quality of the detail job 2. The car’s photogenic qualities......So here’s my choice for the Kimal Lumber 21st:

The car owners have some great stories about their cars:
Stuart Keen and Sunny (his awesome dog) had a map of the cross country trips he had taken in his 1951 MG TD MK2
A day at a Car Show is a great place to get a good walk in
